Supported diagnostic activation during brake-fluid servicing, where the motorcycle and ABS system allow it.
Some BMW motorcycle ABS systems provide diagnostic service functions that can assist a competent technician during brake-fluid replacement or bleeding. Availability and the correct procedure depend on the motorcycle, ABS generation and fitted equipment.
Brake work is safety-critical. Diagnostic activation is not a substitute for the correct mechanical procedure, suitable tools, clean fluid and confirmation of safe brake operation. Unresolved ABS warnings, poor lever feel or suspected leaks should be assessed before the motorcycle is ridden.
Provide the exact model and year so the likely ABS function can be checked. Motorrad Lab will not claim support from the model badge alone where generation or equipment changes the available procedure.
